The Terrorism and Crime (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2002 (Proscribed Organisations) (Amendment) Regulations 2003

Attention is drawn to these Regulations which came into effect on 8 January 2003. Schedule 1 to the Terrorism and Crime (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2002 (which contains a list of proscribed organisations) has been updated by these Regulations which add an additional 4 organisations to the list of proscribed organisations set out in Schedule 1.
Financial services businesses should note that Schedule 1 to the Law may be updated from time to time and they should therefore monitor for any such regulations made under the Law.
26 February 2003 - CORRECTION - The Commission has been notified of a typographical error in one of the names listed. This has now been corrected. The second name listed should be Asbat Al-Ansar (and not Absat Al-Arsar as previously listed). Organisations are asked to re-check their databases for any name matches.
