Amendment to Council Regulation (EC) 765/2006 by Regulation (EU) 740/2014 of 8 July 2014

Please be advised that Council Regulation (EC) 765/2006 of 18 May 2006, as implemented in the Bailiwick by the Belarus (Freezing of Funds) (Guernsey) Ordinance, 2006, the Belarus (Freezing of Funds) (Alderney) Ordinance, 2006 and the Belarus (Freezing of Funds) (Sark) Ordinance, 2006 has been amended by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 740/2014.  The effect of the amendments is: 

• The addition of the following to the lists of designated legal and natural persons subject to an asset freeze:
• VOLKOV, Vitaliy Nikolayevich
• The  removal of the following from the lists of designated legal and natural persons subject to an asset freeze:
• ARKHIPAU, Aliaksandr Mikhailavich
• BERASTAU, Valery Vasilievich
• BUSHNAIA, Natallia Uladzimirauna
• MIHUN, Andrei Arkadzevich
• SAMALIUK, Hanna Valerieuna
• SVORAB, Mikalai Kanstantsinavich
• TRATSIAK, Piotr Uladzimiravich
• VARAPAEV, Ihar Ryhoravich

• Check whether they maintain any accounts or otherwise hold any funds or economic resources for these or any other designated person;
• Inform the Policy Council if they know or suspect that someone is a designated person,  and give details of any funds or economic resources they hold for any such person; and
• Refrain from making any funds or economic resources available to these or any other designated persons unless licensed by the Policy Council.
