Credit & Finance: Survey and Breakfast Meetings

The Banking and Insurance Division hosted three breakfast meetings on 10 and 11 November 2021, on the proposed new Credit and Finance Law.  These sessions set out the background to the new law, outlined the Commission’s initial views and proposals, identified how the new law is likely to affect firms, and discussed the survey which it has launched for businesses involved in the sector.  Please note that the slides summarise the topics covered, and do not reflect the full content or the context of the discussion.  Given that the legislative framework is still being drafted, please utilise these slides in the manner in which they are intended; for information and guidance at this relatively early stage in the process.
